Airports are duty free and one of the biggest reasons it got legalized was taxes. No way would tax free buds be sold in the airport, that and chances of it leaving the state is pretty significant. Most still buy it the old fashioned way as it's 50% cheaper

only downtown denver, denver is actually pretty big if you count suburban denver and the surrounding counties. I live in denver city, but arapahoe county.

compared to some of the other big cities (LA, Chicago, Houston, new York) Denver is indeed tiny. You can drive from Fort Collins to Denver in less than an hour and to the southern tip of Denver in an hour flat.
